The starting point of your journey is the Thessaloniki railway station and you can reach it with the directions we provide here. The train departs at 08.18 in the morning and on its route you will be surprised by the uniqueness of the landscapes and by the alternation of mountain and sea. The route passes by the roots of the mythical Mount Olympus, home of the Twelve Gods of Ancient Greece, and takes you to the station of Palaiofarsalos, an area from which the Myrmidons originate, the formidable ancient warriors who, under the leadership of Achilles, played important role in the outcome of the Trojan War. At Paleofarsalos station you will disembark and change trains, then board the train heading to Kalambaka. You will arrive there at 11.30 in the afternoon where our partner will be waiting for you at the station to pick you up and start the tour.

During the tour you will visit six monasteries and see 3 of them inside. Around 16.00 in the afternoon we will return you to the city center where you will have free time to browse in the shadow of the rocks. Kalambakas train station is not more than 5 minutes walk from where we will drop you off and after we give you instructions how to reach it you should be there no later than 17.00 so that you can board the return train.. At the station In Palaiofarsalou you will follow the same procedure as when you arrived, i.e. changing trains.
